Faculty Team

Ms. Swati Singh has 7 years of experience in the academic and design fields. She has participated in several professional development courses, including a 3-day FDP on Universal Human Values in Technical Education, a 7-day FDP on Outcome Based Education and Generative AI, and a 2-day FDP on UI/UX Design. Her academic research focuses on the evolution of adornments, titled "Beyond Gemstones: Tracing the Evolutionary Path of Adornments."

Ms. Singh is actively involved in several committees, such as the Examination Committee, Activity Committee, and the International Relations Centre (IRC) at DPU-SOD. She serves as a faculty for the foundation programme.

She holds a Master of Design (M. Des) from Pune University and a Bachelor of Design in Accessory Design from NIFT Gandhinagar. Additionally, she is a Graduate Gemmologist from the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) in New York and holds an Accredited Jewellery Professional Diploma (AJP) from GIA.

Her expertise includes design, education, and the application of new technologies in teaching and research.
