Dr. Gurao has an impressive list of achievements in both art and design competitions, such as: 3rd Position in Poster Making at the 13th Maharashtra State Inter-University Cultural Youth Festival, Indradhanushya-2015. Award for Best Fine Art Student (NSS, Savitribai Phule Pune University) in 2015 and 2017. 2nd Position for Research Project on Breast Cancer Awareness in the PG category at the Avishkar 2018 University Level. 2nd Position in Photography at the Utkarsh 9th State-level Inter-University Cultural Festival (2017). 3rd Position in Installation at the Inter-University National Youth Festival, Mysore (2016).
Dr. Gurao has worked as a Creative Consultant and Visualiser at Design Safari Pvt. Ltd., Alert Medicare Pvt. Ltd. (as C.E.O.), Third Poll Pvt. Ltd. (Creative Consultant and Campaign Manager) etc.
He has earned his doctorate i.e. Ph.D. in Visualisation Communication Design, M.F.A. in Applied Art with Specialization in Visualisation and B.F.A. in Applied Art with Specialization in Visualisation
