Ms. Simran Mathur is an Assistant Professor with 5 years of combined industry and academic experience. She holds a Master of Design (M. Des.) in Fashion Design and a Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design. Her areas of expertise span across Surface Ornamentation, Fashion Styling, Fashion Illustration and Apparel Merchandising with Various software applications relevant to fashion design.

Ms. Mathur has also engaged in several professional development initiatives, including Digital Pedagogy: Focusing on ICT and AI-assisted teaching, aligned with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and the National Education Policy (NEP). Outcome-Based Education and Application of Generative AI in Teaching and Research. NAAC Reforms and Binary Accreditation Framework: Introduction to new reforms for 2024 and NEP-2020. In her academic role, she serves as a member of the Examination Committee at her institution.
