Faculty Team

Dr. Bhavesh Patil is an Assistant Professor with a Ph.D. in Animation, and a Master's in Animation (M.Sc.) With over 1.5 years of academic experience, he has contributed to research in the fields of film making and 2D animation, including a Scopus-indexed study on the formative evaluation of animation students.

Dr. Bhavesh has actively participated in various faculty development programs, such as one on inculcating universal human values in technical education, and another on manuscript drafting and research proposal development.

He is also an award-winning filmmaker, having won the Best Documentary Film and Best Editor Award at the Suryadatta International Short Film Festival for his work on Baliraja. Dr. Patil is a member of several prestigious film industry organizations, including the Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal and the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association, and he is the owner and founder of Bhavesh Productions.
