Explanation of Key Activities:

  1. Inauguration Ceremony:
    The event begins with a warm welcome and the lighting ceremony to mark the official opening of the Sketchathon. This creates an exciting atmosphere for participants to begin their creative journey.
  2. Line and Circle Drill:
    This warm-up session helps participants focus on basic drawing skills like lines and circles, which form the foundation for many artistic sketches.
  3. Outdoor Sketching (Landscape):
    A fantastic opportunity to practice sketching from real-life landscapes. Participants go outdoors, which fosters creativity through natural elements and environmental textures.
  4. Still Life Sketching:
    This session helps refine participants' observational and technical skills as they compose an arrangement of objects for sketching, focusing on capturing details and creating depth.
  5. Semi-Nude Sketching:
    A challenging session focused on human anatomy where participants sketch semi-nude models to understand proportions and form.
  6. Storytelling Act:
    A break from sketching, this short performance from Raanjhanaa is designed to inspire creativity and help participants engage with their artistic expression through a storytelling approach.
  7. #In the Style of:
    A fun activity where participants can take an existing sketch and re-imagine it in their own unique style, fostering personal creativity and artistic interpretation.
  8. Live Figure Sketching:
    A real-time drawing session that challenges participants to sketch live human models, helping to improve their understanding of anatomy, proportions, and live-action drawing techniques.
  9. Taboo Game Using Visuals:
    This group activity encourages rapid sketching based on visual prompts. It’s a fun challenge that pushes participants to think quickly and creatively under time pressure.
  10. The Power of Visualization (Imaginary Sketching):
    A session designed to test participants' ability to visualize and translate imaginary scenes or concepts onto paper, expanding their creative thinking.
  11. Nude Figure Sketching:
    This advanced sketching session focuses on capturing the human form in its most natural state, enhancing participants' skills in proportion, posture, and fine details.
  12. Closing Ceremony:
    The event concludes with a celebration of all participants’ hard work, the announcement of award winners, and a formal thank-you to all involved. This is the perfect way to wrap up an inspiring and creative 24-hour marathon.
